Don’t hate me too much for it, but yeah, this is the one paywall you will find here on The Devil’s Mouth. I mean, sure, the tote bag is admittedly awesome, but ultimately our paid subscribers deserve just a little bit more effort for the parting of their cold hard cash to some rando website that just throws weird music at you like this one, so here it is - our new feature BANDCAMP BASEMENT, where regularly I’ll be offering a few choice picks from the vast and often unexplored depths of that great online depository of music. I’m sure most of you who are also music freaks also go on a few Bandcamp rabbit hole excursions of your own, as it’s so easy to just follow tag after user after band after label and come up with a million potentially new favourites you never heard of before. This feature will offer exactly that - the choice few ones I bother to write down and actually listen to all the way through, that actually become part of my regular listening habits. I will obviously focus on smaller, lesser known artists, mostly up-and-coming new people and projects - hopefully, you don’t need anyone to direct you to the Melvins Bandcamp or whatever to discover how awesome they are.
