THE DEVIL'S MOUTH Vol. 109: Ten Rounds with Noah Hall (Whiskey Priest, Class Picture Project, Easterly)
Catching up with a supremely talented singer/songwriter - who offered us TWO unreleased songs in the process.
You might remember an old episode of the podcast where we recommended 30 singer/songwriters you should hear - one of the highlights was a Whiskey Priest song, which is one of Noah Hall's main musical vehicles. Also as a member of Easterly (of whom we might have not have heard the last of, after all) and also the creator of the wonderful Class Picture Project, Noah has been producing true gold nuggets of sound throughout his career with his unique sense of melody and melancholy, and it's a great pleasure to finally have him on the show and listen to some insights into his musical influences and a few great stories.
Oh, and two unreleased songs. That's right, Noah has been kind enough to share a brand new unreleased Whiskey Priest song called ‘When I Know’ and a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye' with us, two fantastic pieces which bookend our entire conversation and playlist. As if you needed more reasons to tune in and go listen to it right now.
Click the image or this link, and let us know in the comments what you thought of the new songs. Noah will appreciate the feedback too!
