Veil of Sound vs. The Devil's Mouth vol. I: A short introduction of short songs.

A new clash of titans appears!

It is a wonderful pleasure to let you guys know of a regular collaboration that will take place monthly from now on - through a series of jokes that became deadly serious, The Devil’s Mouth and the wonderful people at Veil of Sound, or more specifically me and their head honcho Mr. Thorsten Schaeben, have firmly locked musical horns, and the forthcoming playlist battle promises to be a fierce one!

The idea is simple - every month I will compile a thematic playlist for VoS and Thorsten will reply right back with one of his own as a reaction to mine. Thorsten’s pile of songs will appear right here on The Devil’s Mouth and over at VoS you will find my own. The playlist will normally not exceed the 60-minute-mark, so unlike my usual stuff like the podcast and those 50-song yearly best-ofs, these will be appropriate for shorter attention spans and all of you on the go who still need their fix of ungodly noise.

Plus! We will be giving you a short video each month to talk about our choices and to nerd it out a bit, as we do. If looking at my ugly mug is any kind of a plus, anyway. Here’s our first chat:
